Mark Cohen

Bio: Mark Cohen, a resident of New York City, started his career in finance in 2003. Mark has over 15 years experience in the financial industry and has served in a numerous amount of capacities in his career. Mark attended the University of Hartford, in Connecticut, to complete his undergraduate degree in 1997. In 2001, Mr. Cohen graduated with a Bachelors in Business and Corporate Communication. Mark started his financial career at AXA Financial in January of 2004. While at AXA, Mark served in private wealth management for the French, multinational, investment banking firm. Mark was named to the National Leaders Corps, Centurion Conference and Summit Conference during his time at AXA. Mark moved on from AXA in February 2011, when he accepted a wealth management position with MetLife. Mark was responsible for hiring new employees and training. While with MetLife, Mark developed and led a nationally recognized team of investors. Among that, Marks other accomplishments while with MetLife were being named to Americas Council Producer, awarded to the top 1% of nationally ranked advisors and in 2012 and 2013, was ranked in the top 20 nationally. Once again Mark made a change in companies. This time coming in April of 2014 when he was named the Chief Investment Strategist at GreyCliff Advisory Group LLC. There, Mark, was the team lead. He also worked in portfolio management and equity research. In June, Mark was named Managing Director at GreyCliff Strategic Venture Group LLC. His new role comprised of working with private equity and venture capital. His responsibilities at GreyCliff include management of client relations, investment strategy and selections as well as mentoring and training new employees at the firm. Mark has consistently been a Top 25 producer with both MetLife and AXA Advisors. Mark has also received numerous sales awards during his career. Mark has always had a reputation for building and training elite sales teams and personal and has spoken at many local and national events.
